Kelsey Grammer's daughter breaks her silence following knife attack drama, confirming that she and her friend were injured when trying to break up a fight.

AceShowbiz - Actress Spencer Grammer has confirmed reports she suffered an injury in a Friday night (24Jul20) knife attack at a New York City restaurant.
The "Rick and Morty" star was slashed as she tried to break up a fight at The Black Ant in the East Village, after a man, who appeared to be drunk, was turned away as he tried to get a table at the restaurant.
According to bystanders, the man began arguing with employees and several customers when Spencer and her dinner partner, Jan Phillip Mueller, jumped out of their seats to try and diffuse the situation.
"My friend and I did what anyone else would do in the same situation," Grammer says in a statement to Us Weekly. "Several others, predominantly women, were also attempting to prevent the altercation from escalating."
"I sustained a laceration on my arm, and my friend was stabbed in the back, but thankfully he suffered no serious internal injuries. We expect to recover quickly. We want to thank the first responders and the staff at Bellevue Hospital, who provided us with excellent care. They fought an incredible battle this year. It was very moving for us to have the opportunity to thank them in person."
