The 'Peppermint' actress urges an Instagram follower to keep hopeful in rediscovering joy and laughter after the latter shared her hardship coming to terms with the end of a troubled marriage.

AceShowbiz - Actress Jennifer Garner has urged a heartbroken fan to keep "fighting" to rediscover joy and laughter after a tough marriage break-up.
An Instagram follower using the handle @meregoddess revealed all about her relationship struggles in a comment under a series of selfies posted by the "Dallas Buyers Club" star on Monday, June 29, explaining she was having a hard time coming to terms with the end of a troubled marriage.
"I have finally gotten the courage to tell my husband to leave after years of emotional abuse and I feel like I will never find happiness or security," the fan wrote. "I find a sense of balm from seeing yours buts (sic) it's also mixed with a winsome feeling because I don't think I'll ever be there. He is so vindictive and powerful and I have nothing and no one. Why am I saying this to a stranger? I really don't know".
The remarks caught Garner's eye, and she has since taken the time to respond to @meregoddess, assuring her she will find a new sense of happiness once she's worked through the pain of her split.
"Your heart sounds heavy, I am so sorry," Garner wrote. "Hopefully you have powerful women in your corner, reminding you of your strength and your worth. Hopefully, you are able to calm your mind and heart with prayer/meditation/exercise/art."
"Laughter will come and really - it is worth fighting for. Until then, all of my love."
Garner was speaking from experience - she called it quits with Ben Affleck, her husband of 10 years and father of her three kids, in 2015, and they finalised their divorce in 2018.
