It remains to be seen what drives Guwop to have a change of heart, but many fans assume that the 'Big Booty' rapper receives a bigger bag from the executives at Atlantic.

AceShowbiz - Gucci Mane previously made headlines after he blasted his record label, Atlantic Records, accusing it of being "polite racist." Now, the "Wake Up in the Sky" rapper has changed his tune by issuing an apology towards his label.

"I'm not going independent but so respect those who go that route I apologize for my rude harsh language lately I'm a do better," so Gucci wrote the Atlanta rap stable, tagging his own 1017 imprint and Atlantic in his tweet on Wednesday, July 1.

It remains to be seen what drove Guwop to have a change of heart. However, many fans assumed that he received a bigger bag from the executives at Atlantic. "Atlantic clearly cut a bigger check," a fan replied to his tweet. Someone added, "Nah that $$ hit different when you have to pay for everything!!!"

This arrived after Gucci accused his Atlantic Records chiefs of "polite" racism before announcing that he's leaving the label back in June. "Leaving #AtlanticRecords July 3rd these crackers polite racist #SoIcySummer," and also featured a black-coloured heart emoji, a pair of black praying hands and an emoji of a blue face frosted over," so he alleged.

Gucci, however, deleted it but continued retweeting fans and journalists who quoted the original post.

In another strange tweet, which remained on his profile, he seemingly made a similar accusation about his namesake luxury brand Gucci, calling them the "the most polite racist ever" and adding, "I pray y'all die of corona virus (sic)."

Meanwhile, in another now-deleted tweet, he called for artists to go on strike to protest "racist" record labels as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. He said, "All artists let's go on strike f**k these racist a** labels burn them down too #BlackLivesMatter #BlackExecMatter f**k these crackers????"
