AceShowbiz - Michelle Williams has just become a proud mother of two. Months after it was speculated that she has secretly tied the knot with her director fiance Thomas Kail, the actress portraying Gwen Verdon on FX's "Fosse/Verdon" was reported to have given birth to their first child together.

Breaking the news was Us Weekly through the June 17 episode of its "Hot Hollywood" news podcast. The baby's gender and name have not been released, and it was unclear when exactly the 39-year-old actress welcomed the child.

The baby news came nearly six months after the former "Dawson's Creek" actress was uncovered to be pregnant with her second child, and was engaged to Kail. She already has a 14-year-old daughter, Matilda, from her previous relationship with the late Heath Ledger.

About Michelle's pregnancy, a source at the time told E! News, "She's very excited to have another baby and give Matilda a sibling." In regards to her relationship with Kail, the source added, "She fell fast and hard for Thomas. They are very in love and excited about their future together and having a family."

In March 2020, the two-time Golden Globe winner sparked speculations that she and Kail had secretly tied the knot. The twosome were spotted wearing bands on their wedding ring fingers while out and about in New York City.

Us Weekly claimed that the "Venom" actress indeed married to the "Hamilton" director. The publication quoted a source as saying, "They're very happy and thrilled to be bringing a baby into the world. They would like to be married by the time that happens."

Williams and Kail met on the set of "Fosse/Verdon". They were alleged to get engaged less than a year after she ended her brief marriage to indie musician Phil Elverum, whom she secretly married in July 2018. Kail, in the meantime, was previously married to actress Angela Christian for about 13 years.
