The Major Lazer star is called out by the 'Songs for You' singer for seemingly trying to divert people's attention from the news related to the widespread Black Lives Matter movement.

AceShowbiz - Tinashe was less-than-impressed with DJ Diplo, after he attempted to divert people's attention from "horrible" social media posts relating to the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests across the U.S.

Following the tragic death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers, a number of protests were staged over the weekend to demand an end to police brutality and racial prejudice across the country.

Taking to Instagram, the Major Lazer star attempted to lighten his fans' Instagram feeds with a snap of a newborn giraffe with its mother - but the post didn't go according to plan.

"Your feed is probably horrible so here is this picture," the "Heartless" star, 41, captioned the photo.

However, joining those firing off in the comments of the post, "Faded Love" star Tinashe hit out at Diplo, insisting, "People posting about black lives matter isn't horrible."

Tinashe and Diplo previously collaborated in 2015, and they posed for a group photo together in January 2016.

The Grammy winner's post comes after he shared several powerful posts on social media advocating for the Black Lives Matter movement on Sunday.

"It's uncomfortable work to be a white person and taking responsibility to change the way our society views life, but it has to be done," he penned, adding, "Racism is real and if you deny that you are a lunatic."
