The manager of the 'Empire' actor blames the damage to his apartment on the star's struggle with ADHD after his landlord files a lawsuit for property damage.

AceShowbiz - "Empire" star Bryshere Y. Gray is being sued by his landlords after his dog allegedly caused thousands of dollars of damage to his apartment.

Vinod Venugopal and Payal Shah filed legal papers against the 26-year-old actor, claiming that he frequently left his dog alone in his Chicago condo - as well as leaving the canine unattended in common areas in the four-unit complex. As such, they claim the pooch urinated and defecated all over the place, which has allegedly significantly damaged the hardwood floors and stairs inside the property.

In addition, the landlords made several claims against Gray, claiming that he clogged the toilets by attempting to flush away condoms, smoked marijuana in his non-smoking apartment and engaged in unsanitary activity such as eating breakfast in one of the bathrooms.

They claim the total cost of repairs due to the actions of the actor and his dog are $26,120 and are suing for damages as well as an extra $7,000 to cover their attorney's fees.

In response to the lawsuit, Gray's manager Charlie Mac told TMZ that the actor suffers from ADHD and "unfortunately this (is) a result of that."

"He's a great person and it will be taken care of. It will be handled," Mac added, before continuing: "There is money inside of his security deposit that should rectify whatever issues the landlord has. (It's) sad that the landlord has chosen this way to handle this but we will do what is needed to make sure it is taken care of."
