Elvis Presley's Graceland to Limit Visitors When Reopening After Coronavirus Shutdown

Bosses at the popular tourist attraction in Memphis, Tennessee claim to have adjusted tours of the 'Hound Dog' star's former home, restaurant and retail operations for the May 21 reopening.

AceShowbiz - Elvis Presley's Graceland will reopen on Thursday, May 21, after it shut down tours and exhibits due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Bosses at the popular tourist attraction in Memphis, Tennessee, centered on the life and career of the late rock and roll icon, revealed they had adjusted tours, restaurant and retail operations, since closing the attraction in March.

In a news release, it was confirmed Graceland officials were reducing tours of the "Hound Dog" star's former home to 25 per cent capacity, requiring employees and encouraging visitors to wear face masks, and limiting restaurant capacities to 50 per cent.

Temperature checks for guests and employees will be implemented, and hand sanitizing stations are also being installed.

"We are helping Memphis and Tennessee to get back to some sense of normality," said Joel Weinshanker, managing partner of Graceland Holdings, in a statement.
