The former 'American Idol' champion wants to take a complete break from parenting and household duties during coronavirus lockdown on this year's Mother's Day.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson is demanding a day off from parenting this Mother's Day, May 10, 2020.

The "Catch My Breath" hitmaker jokingly told People she asked husband Brandon Blackstock for some alone time on Sunday, insisting, "I don't want to do anything!"

"I said, 'Look, I don't want to make one meal. I don't want to take care of one child," she quipped. "I want to sit in bed and I want to just relax and I want to read or watch something or do whatever I want to do."

"I know it seems funny because everyone's like, 'Oh, we're so isolated (due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis).' But parents aren't isolated," she added.

For the past few weeks, Kelly, Brandon, and their kids River, five, and Remy, four, have been self-isolating at their ranch in Montana - and Kelly confessed she's glad to have her nearest and dearest close by.

"I'm thankful on the other hand that I have people in my house that I can talk to," she smiled. "But for Mother's Day, I'm definitely going to (tell Brandon), 'Can you just do everything so I don't have to?' "
