Younes Bendjima is playing down the 2018 nightclub fight that allegedly involved the 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. in a Los Angeles celebrity hotspot.

AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Younes Bendjima is downplaying his involvement in a nightclub brawl involving Drake.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Younes has responded to the lawsuit filed by Bennett Sipes, who is suing Drake and football star Odell Beckham Jr. over an alleged assault that took place at the Delilah nightclub in 2018.

In a new court filing, Younes insists he merely engaged in self-defence during the incident, maintaining, "his use of force was to prevent a threatened battery, in that a reasonable person would find such force necessary circumstances."

Since the claims were filed, Drake's lawyer has written to Sipes' attorneys, urging them to remove his client's name from the complaint, insisting he was not involved in the attack. The "Hotline Bling" hitmaker also insists he never instructed his security guards to join in the assault, saying their job was to protect him and not "stir up dangerous physical altercations."

The rapper has demanded his name is also dismissed from the complaint.
