Explaining her side of the story about their collaboration project that started their beef, the 'Set It Up' raptress admits the problem comes from the 'disrespect' that 'is started getting out of hand.'

AceShowbiz - Kamaiyah is seemingly ready to end the bad blood with Kehlani now following their short back-and-forth. After airing out the fallout of their friendship, the Oakland native has returned to Instagram to apologize to her former friend for threatening her and explain her side of the story.

In an Instagram Live video, the 28-year-old raptress admitted their beef started after a collaboration went wrong, but she denied she ever "used" Kehlani. She said in the clip, "I never used her. I never used anybody. If I had used her, I would've put out a version with me on it. I would've used that for streams. I never did it. I never even addressed this."

As to what caused the misunderstanding between them, she shared, "All of this that I'm upset and I'm trying to use her... What did I use you for?" Claiming that their friendship is "genuine," she said she still loves Kehlani and considers her her "sister." She added, "My problem is the disrespect is started getting out of hand."

Kamaiyah also responded to Kehlani's claim that she sent the latter death threats, saying, "I apologize, I shouldn't threaten her."

It remains to be seen how Kehlani reacts to Kamaiyah's apology. She previously said that she had reached out to the "Windows" raptress several times to sort things out to no avail because she was still "met with internet antics, false rumors that don't make any sense, and THREATS TO MY LIFE. & me all of a sudden not being from the same city that i was from when we were cool."

Kehlani, however, stressed that she didn't bear any hard feelings. "i am still a fan. i still admire from a far. i'm still respectful. i'd never hurt this woman or get her hurt. praying for everyone involved cuz this is dumb and it's ultimately a LOSS for our city," she added.

"i'm not sickin no fans on nobody, no blogs, no disses in songs, ITS REALLY LOVE. if you was beefin at the wedding you shoulda been beefin at the wedding you shouldn't had brought it to somebody else album release week!!!" she said, referring to her new album "It Was Good Until It Wasn't" that is set to come out on May 8.
