The former Westlife singer has been forced to put his upcoming nuptials with fiancee Danielle Parkinson on hold because of the ongoing global Covid-19 pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Singer Brian McFadden has been forced to postpone his wedding amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Westlife star proposed to Olympian Danielle Parkinson in December 2019 and the couple had hoped to wed later this year, but its plans have been stalled.

"We've put our plans on hold for the moment," he tells Heat magazine. "We're just going to wait and see what happens over the next few months."

McFadden insists many plans that have already been put in place are still going ahead, including a performance with his Boyzlife bandmate Keith Duffy.

"When it does happen you can guarantee that," he explains. "After a few drinks me and Keith will be up on that stage."

The coronavirus pandemic also pulled Boyzlife's tour off the road, but Brian isn't complaining.

"We spend most of our life on the road, so this is actually the longest I've been home in four years," he says. "My eldest (daughter) had symptoms for a few days. She's living with her mum but luckily no one else in the house got it."

McFadden's latest marriage will be his third - he was wed to singer Kerry Katona from 2002 to 2006, and Vogue Williams. He was also engaged to Australian singer Delta Goodrem.
