Probably celebrating being out of the coronavirus quarantine, the 'Stoner' hitmaker joins a large crowd who attends what looks like an impromptu gathering in Atlanta.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug is risking his health for the sake of celebrating the newfound freedom after Georgia Governor Brian Kemp reopened the state despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Atlanta native was spotted hitting the street along with a bunch of other people in the city over the weekend.

Ignoring social distancing, these people flocked the street without any protective gear and standing close to each other though they didn't seem to have a clear purpose. In one of the videos, Thugger who appeared to be joined by a male friend walked casually among the crowd, also without wearing a mask.

Fellow Atlanta rap star Akbar V was another public figure who was spotted during what looked like an impromptu gathering.

Confirming the activities, a local residence said, "You right Fee I live here and they been out in the city all weekend." Meanwhile, many have reacted to the shocking videos, with one person writing, "Truly sad!" Another echoed the sentiment, "Sad for my city, bruh. Hate to see it."

"Why we can't just stay in the house," a fourth user frustratingly wondered. "That's because they took us out of quarantine and I hate it smh," someone else commented on Governor Kemp's controversial decision to lift the bans. Another shared her grim prediction, "We will see a spike in ATL n Florida 2 weeks from now."

Gov. Kemp received a lot of criticisms after he announced last week that he would open the state and allow non-essential businesses to reopen starting on Friday, April 24. Cardi B and T.I. were among some celebrities who spoke up against the governor's decision.

Meanwhile, 2 Chainz backtracked on his plans to reopen his Escobar Restaurant and Tapas for dine-in service after receiving backlash. His business partner Snoop Dillard told TMZ, "After careful consideration, we are not going to open our restaurants on Monday. It has not officially been decided when we will start having dine-in service."
