AceShowbiz - Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin are giving their romance another try despite their quite messy breakup. The singer and his ex-girlfriend have been back together, weeks after they were involved in a violent altercation.

The younger brother of Nick Carter hinted at their rekindled romance as he shared posts on his Instagram page showing them together over the weekend. In a video he posted on Instagram Stories on Sunday, April 19, the two were in a car, seemingly heading to a soulmate spiritual reading. "Guess where we're going," he teased, before showing an ad for a company named Spiritual Encounters.

In a snap, Aaron showed his girlfriend taking a nap while wearing a pair of pink sweats and curling up to a puppy. The couple apparently picked up a dog on their way to their spiritual trip. "My babies," he captioned it.

The couple's reunion comes just weeks after Melanie was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence following an alleged altercation at Aaron's California home in late March. Police were called to the 32-year-old's Lancaster house on Sunday night, March 29 to investigate a disturbance, which reportedly began as a heated argument between Aaron and Melanie.

According to TMZ, the fight turned physical and Melanie is accused of attacking the star, leaving him with scratches on his arms. She was taken into custody and booked for felony domestic violence, but was released after posting a $50,000 bail.

Aaron then took to Twitter to address their breakup. "Melanie came back four times after we broke up harrsssing (harassing) me," he wrote, alleging that she purposefully broke her dog Peanut's leg. He also accused her of cheating on him. "so sad," he added. "I hope she gets the help she needs. no one deserves domestic abuse female OR MALE #DomesticAbuse #Cheater she literally chocked (sic) me out.... i'm devastated."
