AceShowbiz - Madonna's message about coronavirus was not delivered well in a bizarre video she posted in March. The visual alone, which saw the pop star lying naked in a bathtub surrounded by candles, raised eyebrows as to what her intention actually was by addressing the serious issue with such racy display. But it was her statement about COVID-19 being "the great equalizer" that baffled people even more.
"That's the thing about COVID-19," she preached in the Instagram video. "It doesn't care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are. How smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell. It's the great equalizer." She added, "What's terrible about it is that it's made us all equal in many ways, and what's wonderful about is, is that it's made us all equal in many ways." Madge never explained her controversial remarks, but she deleted the video as a response to the criticism.
