AceShowbiz - Halle Berry in unlikely to bring a man into her life anytime soon. Having been single since ending her two-year marriage with third husband Olivier Martinez in late 2016, the "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum" star admitted she was not in a rush into new relationship.

During an Instagram Live session with Lena Waithe on Wednesday, April 15, the 53-year-old star revealed her plan to stay single. "I no longer feel the need for a relationship so I don't feel the need to rush or accept something that's not totally right for me," she said. "Not that anything's wrong with the people I've been with but I'm going to wait for my match or I will stay solo and be with my kids and do my life the way I'm doing it."

Berry, who is a mother to 12-year-old Nahla and 6-year-old Maceo, explained that her two children filled the void caused by the lack of her love life. "I've learned a lot being with my children. They are the best company for me right now, and when I divorced Maceo's dad I've been pretty alone by myself going on three years now," she dished. "Decidedly so, for sure."

Deciding to take time in finding love once again, the "Catwoman" actress reasoned that she needed to take a break since she is "very much a relationship-oriented person, I always want to be with someone." She added, "I decided, no I'm going to slow my roll, I'm going to take a minute and I'm going to spent time with me. And it's been so great that I think I might stay like this!"

Adamant with her decision, the "Monster's Ball" star assured, "I'm fine because I think the next relationship I have I think I will have a better chance of attracting and choosing what's right for me because I've taken this time to think about what's important to me."

Before being involved with Martinez, Berry dated model Gabriel Aubry, with whom she has Nahla, for five years. The "Frankie & Alice" actress was also married to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, and to Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005. She was recently linked to DJ D-Nice because of their flirty interaction during his Instagram Live session on March 25.
