Directed by Jora Frantzis, the visual for the new duet of the 'Stay with Me' hitmaker and the 'I Love Me' songstress also features 'RuPaul's Drag Race' stars Valentina and Gigi Goode.

AceShowbiz - Sam Smith and Demi Lovato are embracing the LGBTQ community in a new music video for "I'm Ready". Dropping the visual of their first-ever collaboration on Thursday, April 16, the "Stay with Me" hitmaker and the "I Love Me" songstress conquer a number of sporting events in Queer Olympics.

The more-than-three-minute promo is kicked off with scene of Sam taking charge in wrestling. "It's a cold night in my bed in the heat of the summer/ I've been waitin' patiently for a beautiful lover/ He's not a cheater, a believer," the Grammy winner sings all the while. "He's a warm, warm-blooded achiever/ It's a lonely night in my bed in the heat of the summer."

Sam then competes in a glammed-up 100-meter sprint. Donning a black dress and huge hat, the 27-year-old singer races down the track against a number of competitors including "RuPaul's Drag Race" stars Valentina and Gigi Goode.

It is not until a minute-and-a-half into the Jora Frantzis-directed video that Demi makes her appearance. Standing on the edge of a diving board, the former Disney sweetheart sings, "It's a hot night in my head in the chill of the winter/ No, I've been lookin' hard for a lover disguised as a sinner/ No, not a cheater, a redeemer/ He's a cold, cold-blooded defeater."

In another scene, the "Skyscraper" hitmaker can be seen strutting in between synchronized swimmers. She later joins the "Too Good at Goodbyes" singer on the medal podium, rocking white attires with gold medals around their necks. "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready/ For someone to love me (For someone to love me)," they belt out.

"I'm Ready" is the first single from Sam's third studio album, "To Die For". About the track itself, the "Stay with Me" singer told Zane Lowe on New Music Daily on Apple Music, "I'm nervous about the song because the song, for me, is a song that's reaching. And, when it's like you're reaching for the stars in the melody, you're reaching for the stars in all of it, it almost sounds a bit of musical theater at times."

Sam continued explaining, "Like it feels cheesy at times. And I'm trying to own that because that is a genuine feeling that comes out sometimes in the studio. And it's fun. It's really fun to go to that place."

"To Die For", in the meantime, has gotten postponed in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. A follow-up to Sam's 2017 "The Thrill of It All", it was originally set to be released on June 5, and will be getting renamed.
