The longtime pal of the 'Bad Boys' actor first shared about not feeling well on April 5 through an Instagram video while addressing rumors that he was in critical condition.

AceShowbiz - Will Smith invites his longtime friend and collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff for his new Snapchat series "Will From Home". In a sneak peek video of its Wednesday, April 15 episode, the two could be seen discussing Jazzy's severe alleged Coronavirus symptoms.

"I came home from my trip, you know, I feel like I'm coming down with something," the 55-year-old DJ explained to Will. "Got in the bed, don't remember the next 10 days. My temperature had reached about 103, the chills, I lost smell, I lost sense of taste."

Jazzy, however, added that he took a flu test instead of an actual COVID-19 test. "When I went and got the chest X-Ray, she came in and said pneumonia in both of your lungs," he revealed. "People think we're at the end, and I think we're really at the beginning."

Lightening the mood, the "Bad Boys for Life" star said that his immediate reaction when he first learned about Jazzy's diagnosis was, "I was like, 'Not my deejay!' " prompting the latter to laugh. "Unfortunately, people think we’re at the end [of the pandemic], and I think we're really at the beginning," Jazzy told the actor.

Prior to this, Jazzy took to his social media account to encourage people to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus crisis. "Be grateful that you are here… Be grateful for what you have.. You have more than a lot of people!!! Now take yo ass in the house! #KeepYoA**InTheHouse," he wrote alongside a picture that read, "I'm bored as s**t…. But I'm alive…."

He first shared about not feeling well on April 5. "Don't believe everything that you hear on the internet because a lot of it wasn't true," he said in an Instagram video addressing rumors that he was in critical condition. "Now I really was sick. I was sick though. I was real sick."

"And I gotta send a huge shoutout to my family, especially my wife, for taking care of me when I was sick. But I'mma let you know I ain't sick no more," he added.
