The 'Notorious' actress is giving back to her community amid the Covid-19 outbreak as she helps feed families affected by the coronavirus pandemic in her hometown of New Jersey.

AceShowbiz - "Power" actress Naturi Naughton is handing out 100 meals a day in New Jersey to those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

The star has partnered with Newark's Kings Family Restaurant and Orange's Southern Comfort Cafe, to ensure families have enough food following the closure of schools and the end of school meals.

"You see a lot of people are going grocery shopping, but everyone cannot afford groceries right now," she told the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.

"A lot of parents are used to their child being served breakfast and lunch at school and they just take care of dinner. But now (that schools are closed because of the outbreak) parents are responsible for three meals a day for their children."

"Notorious" star Naughton is working with the organisations seven days per week, and this weekend she'll also team up with Negril BK to offer dinners for pickup.
