The 'Brave' singer shares the shocking news that she has tested positive for COVID-19 through an Instagram Story post, but assures she has since 'fully recovered.'

AceShowbiz - Sara Bareilles is recovering from coronavirus. Adding herself to a list of celebrities who has been tested positive for COVID-19 amid the global pandemic, the "Brave" songstress shared with her followers the things she is grateful for after shaking off the virus.

Sharing the shocking news, the 40-year-old singer-songwriter posted a series of videos on her Instagram Story handle. "Hi friends," she began the video taped when she took a stroll around New York City. "Just wanted to check in. I'm really quiet right now and will probably continue to be quiet. Just sort of taking all of this in and having a lot of feelings as I do."

"I had it, just so you know," the partner of actor Joe Tippett admitted. "I'm fully recovered, just so you know. I am just thinking about all of the people who are walking through this really tricky time and sending a lot of love and just being really grateful for every easy breath and every day that I get to be walking around. Lots of love you guys." She then urged fans to "take care of yourselves."

The "Love Song" hitmaker didn't share further details on how she contracted the virus or when she started to experience symptoms, but she did post a cryptic message on her social media prior to this revelation. On Tuesday, March 31, she uploaded a photo of her capturing cherry blossoms. "Keep looking for what is beautiful in these dark corners...," she captioned the post.

While Sara has recovered from COVID-19, her "Waitress" co-star Nick Cordero is currently battling a possible infection from the virus. Offering update on his condition was his wife Amanda Kloots who uploaded a photo of the Canadian actor and their heir nine-month-old son Elvis along with a message that read, "My sweet husband needs your prayers please."

"Nick has been sick for a while with what we were told last week was pneumonia," she continued on. "Unfortunately we think he was misdiagnosed and we are waiting to hear if this is in fact COVID. He is scared, in the ICU and now unconscious so his body can get enough oxygen. We are all trying to stay positive and strong knowing that he is in the best care."
