AceShowbiz - Coronavirus pandemic cannot separate Wayne Brady from his family. If any, the crisis has brought them closer to each other, including his ex-wife Mandie Taketa and her boyfriend Jason. The actor/comedian has revealed that the three of them are living together with his and Mandie's daughter Maile.

"Right now, we live literally next door to each other," he told Access Hollywood in an interview. Dishing on their unique co-habitation, the 47-year-old continued, "So our quarantining is a little different. We quarantine between both of our homes and I've got a big backyard and lots of land so we both share this land and this space."

Noting that it wasn't awkward at all for them, Wayne shared, "So Mandie, her boyfriend Jason, my daughter Maile, we are a family. We are like this nuclear family." He went on adding how the situation has only brought positivity to his family, "Family is everything to me so moments like this bring you closer."

Even before the pandemic, Wayne and his ex-wife have been nothing but friendly exes. "My ex-wife Mandy and I, we have a different and a very special situation than a lot of people that co-parent... For the entire duration of [Malie's] life, we have co-parented as best friends," he explained. "We've also lived like seven minutes away from each at the most."

On how they have been spending their time while in self-isolation, Wayne spilled, "We've been doing TikToks, we've been playing board games, spades, hearts, we've been in my studio writing songs together and freestyling, walking the dogs up the canyon, up the street."

The winner of "The Masked Singer" season 2 appears to be enjoying staying home and taking a break from his regular routines as saying, "It's an amazing time for family because it's kind of like a timeout."
