'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' host calls her celebrity friends, including the 'All of Me' hitmaker and his wife Chrissy Teigen, before she realizes that it would've been better if she had kids at home in this time.

AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres wants to have kids now more than ever. Just days into self-isolation caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the host of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' tried to rid herself of boredom by calling a number of celebrity friends, and couldn't help but express her envy at John Legend.

In an Instagram video uploaded on Wednesday, March 18, the 62-year-old could be seen laying on a couch while talking to John through a phone. "Hey, who's this?" John said when he answered her call. "It's Ellen," she replied. When asked "What's going on?" he admitted there's nothing much he could do, before putting his wife Chrissy Teigen on the line.

Apparently, Chrissy has also done "nothing" other than just being "with the kids." Their son Miles Theodore Stephens then chimed in, greeting with a simple "hi." Miles' voice prompted Ellen to say while letting out a big sigh, "So you have kids? I wish I had kids right now." She added, "I'm so bored." Agreeing with her, John stated, "Yeah, we're bored too." Chrissy also confirmed, "We're super bored."

Wrapping the call, Ellen told John and Chrissy, "Just wanted to call you guys and say hey. Bye." Emphasizing she was indeed jealous with the power couple, the wife of Portia de Rossi captioned the post, "Sounds like things are good over at @JohnLegend and @ChrissyTeigen's house."

John and Chrissy were not the only A-listers the comedienne called out of boredom. She also reached out to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine to wish him a happy 41st birthday. "I'm just sitting her enjoying my wonderful family ... and uh, not much other than that," the "Payphone" singer told her when asked about what he has been up to.

Ellen has also shared footage of her brief phone call with Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel. Checking out what the married couple were doing in their self-isolation, she got the same answer, "Nothing." Just before Justin hung up the call, he told Ellen, "Okay, call me in an hour." For the particular post, Ellen wrote in the caption, "Great catch-up with my friend @JustinTimberlake and his wife @JessicaBiel."
