The 'Chicken Fried' hitmakers follow the footsteps of Madonna, Queen, Green Day and BTS in postponing shows and entire tours as precaution to the spread of COVID-19.

AceShowbiz - The Zac Brown Band have cancelled the remainder of their spring tour due to coronavirus concerns.

The country stars have joined the likes of Madonna, Queen, Green Day, Whitesnake, and BTS (Bangtan Boys), among the acts who have postponed shows and entire tours to stay safe as the spread of COVID-19 becomes a major issue around the globe, with over 113,000 cases reported.

Zac Brown and his bandmates kicked off their "The Owl Tour" in Illinois at the end of February, but all upcoming shows, beginning with a concert in St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday, March 12 have been axed.

Announcing the cancellation news to fans on Tuesday, the band states "increasing public health concerns" prompted the "difficult decision."

"The well-being of our fans is always our top priority," the group wrote on Instagram.

13 dates will be rescheduled in total, while the band's summer 2020 "Roar With the Lions Tour" is expected to continue as normal.
