AceShowbiz - Liam Payne and Maya Henry have not gone their separate ways. Hours after news broke out that the two have gone separate ways, new reports came out clarifying that the One Direction member and the 19-year-old model are still "very happy together."

Setting the record straight on the split speculation was a friend of the couple who told Daily Mail, "Maya and Liam are definitely still a couple and are very happy together." The so-called insider went on, "Both have been taking time off social media lately and enjoying each other's company away from the spotlight."

The clarification surfaced right after The Sun came out with a report on Wednesday, February 26 that the "Strip That Down" singer and his girlfriend have broken up after six months of dating. At the time, a source claimed, "Things between Liam and Maya had been rocky recently and they eventually decided to call it a day."

"He was extremely busy at the end of last year and when he eventually stopped, they were both able to re-evaluate exactly what they want," the source elaborated. "They decided to go their separate ways but he isn't moping and wants to put it behind him. He has been telling people he is single and is looking to the future."

Liam and Maya were linked romantically together for the first time in August 2018 following his split from Cheryl Cole, but did not make their relationship pubic until in September 2019. They were last seen together in December the same year when they visited a nightclub in Texas.

Before going public with Maya, Liam sparked dating rumor with Naomi Campbell. The twosome exchanged a series of flirty messages on social media, and were spotted enjoying each other's company a concert at London's O2 Arena in January. "Liam and Naomi were keen to keep a low profile," a source told Daily Star about their night out.
