The 'Charmed' actress fears for her life as she wonders if the disgraced Hollywood honcho will seek revenge and get rid of her after he's convicted of sexual assault.

AceShowbiz - Rose McGowan is concerned Harvey Weinstein's guilty verdict in his New York trial will prompt the disgraced movie mogul to seek revenge against her.

Following the trial's conclusion in Manhattan, New York City, on Monday, February 24, 2020, Weinstein was remanded into custody and now faces up to 29 years in prison on the felony charges.

Reflecting on the landmark case during an interview on U.K. breakfast TV show "Good Morning Britain (GMB)" on Tuesday, the "Charmed" star, who penned one of the initial 2017 exposes on Weinstein, claiming he raped her in 1997 at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, confessed she's now terrified the former Miramax boss will seek revenge.

"The other night, I have to be honest, I was sitting at home and I was thinking I should do the laundry and then I thought, 'Oh, I wonder if he gets convicted he'll hire a hitman to kill me. Oh, I wonder what I want for dinner,' " Rose said. "These are just casual thoughts of my life and that's what's so wrong and sick."

She continued, "That's why I fought so hard for this to stop. But more importantly, I fought for global cultural reset because this still happens."

On Monday night, Rose honoured the "brave women who bared their deepest hurt for the world to see" and spoke out against Weinstein, and she later told GMB she "never really had hope" for any kind of conviction.

"I realised that the other day, when someone asked me, 'Do you have hope he will be found guilty?' And I realised, the last time I actually had hope was the moment before I was raped by him," she said. "After that it became survival and that it became this kind of battle in this huge war."

She explained, "I didn't have hope and not because of the jury, and I'm very grateful to that jury for getting a lot further than juries get in rape cases, certainly."

"There's something so profound about the amount of corruption behind the scenes… it's an extraordinary moment, it's a watershed moment."
