AceShowbiz - Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. clearly inherits a good chunk of his genes. As he grows older, the actor/rapper, who turned 29 years old on Monday, February 24, looks more similar with his famous father.
The "Check Yo Self" hitmaker's fans noticed this when he posted a birthday tribute to his eldest son on his Instagram page. Sharing his photo with the birthday boy, he simply captioned it, "Happy Birthday Son."
After seeing this picture, fans and followers of Cube, whose real name is O'Shea Jackson, took to the comment section to express how they were stunned by the father and son's uncanny resemblance to each other.
"It took me a minute, I thought why has he photoshopped himself with himself... then I read the caption you guys are identical!" one fan, who mistook Jackson Jr. as his father, wrote. A confused fan asked, "Which one is the son?" while another commented, "Damn I thought it was a side by side with a younger ice cube."
"He legit identical," one person gushed, while others used the words "Doppelganger," "Literally twins" and "clone" to describe how much they look like each other. Another joked, "Lol we got ice cube on the right and ice water on the left."
Jackson Jr. is Cube's eldest of his four children with his wife Kimberly Woodruff. The couple, who tied the knot in April 1992, welcomed their second son Darrell in 1992, a daughter named Kareema in 1994 and another baby boy, Shareef, in 1995.
Jackson Jr. portrays his father in N.W.A biopic "Straight Outta Compton", which was released in 2015. Following his appearance in the film, people noted his physical resemblance to his father, which Cube described as "spot on." The 50-year-old star told Jimmy Kimmel in October 2014, "He was born to play the part."
