Appearing to be unimpressed by Donald Trump's first term in office, the 'Richard Jewell' director joins Michael Douglas in voicing his support for the former mayor of New York City.

AceShowbiz - Clint Eastwood has switched alliances for the 2020 U.S. presidential elections, dumping incumbent leader Donald Trump in favour of Democrat Michael Bloomberg.
The longtime Republican supporter never officially endorsed Trump back in 2016, but he did defend the real estate mogul-turned-reality TV star over allegations of racist comments, urging critics to simply "get over it".
"We're really in a p**sy generation. Everybody's walking on eggshells," Eastwood remarked at the time.
"We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren't called racist."
However, the "Dirty Harry" icon doesn't appear to be too impressed with Trump's first term in office, admitting that while he approves of "certain things" he's achieved, Eastwood isn't a fan of his brutish behaviour.
The actor/director tells The Wall Street Journal he wishes Trump would act in "a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names".
"I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level," Eastwood shared.
Revealing he is now backing Bloomberg for the White House, he added, "The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there."
The 89-year-old joins Michael Douglas in voicing his support for former New York City Mayor Bloomberg, who is currently fighting to win the Democratic nomination for the November election.
