The 'Welcome to the Party' rapper has been gunned down in a home burglary and pronounced dead after he's rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following the incident.

AceShowbiz - Rising star Pop Smoke has been shot and killed in what appears to be a home invasion robbery.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ the 20-year-old rapper was at his home in the Hollywood Hills, California at around 4:30 A.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 morning, when two men wearing hoodies and masks broke into the premises.

The intruders reportedly fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding the hitmaker. The men were seen fleeing on foot.

According to the news outlet, the star was rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects have not yet been identified and remain free, after one man was arrested but later released after cops determined he was not involved. It's unclear if the musician, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, knew the shooters.

Pop Smoke released his critically acclaimed second mixtape, "Meet the Woo 2", earlier this month. It charted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Last year 2019, he collaborated with Nicki Minaj on a remix of his hit "Welcome to the Party", and teamed up with Travis Scott (II) on the tune "Gatti".
