'The London' rapper is accused of being transphobic after preaching about God's will while commenting on Zaya Wade's gender transition, addressing her as Dwyane's 'son' instead of 'daughter.'

AceShowbiz - Young Thug is the latest person who has landed in hot water after commenting on Zaya Wade's gender transition. The Atlanta-born star is accused of transphobia after misgendering Dwyane Wade's 12-year-old daughter.

In a tweet posted on Tuesday, February 18, the rapper wrote, "All I wanna say to dwade son is 'GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES' but hey live your true self." He was addressing Zaya as Dwyane's "son" instead of "daughter," prompting backlash from other social media users.

One person wrote, "Transphobia is one hell of a drug. Now y'all all godly." Another told Thug, "How about we don't bully a 12 year old." Someone else commented, "Y'all really get mad af when y'all read something you don't agree with... that's a sign of weakness."

"Grown people really out here bashing someone's child ...I applaud the wade family for letting Zaya live her truth ...and I applaud her for having the courage that most adults don't even have," read another comment. Some others urged Thug to delete the tweet.

Possibly having had enough of taking the heat, Thug has since deleted the post from his Twitter account, though he has not apologized for it either.

Prior to Thug, fellow rapper Boosie Badazz a.k.a. Lil Boosie came under fire after he criticized Dwyane Wade over his transgender daughter. He said in a video message that the former professional basketball player had "gone too f**king far" by letting his teen child come out as a transgender girl.

Boosie thinks Zaya's too young to make such decision. "That is a male. A 12-year-old. At 12, they don't even know what they next meal gon' be. They don't have s**t figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his dick be gone - how he gon' - like, bruh, you going too far, dawg," he said in the clip.

"If he gay, let him be gay," the 37-year-old rapper added. "Don't address him as a woman, dawg. He's 12-years-old. dawg. He's - he's not there yet. He hasn't made his final decisions yet. Don't cut his f**kin d**k off, Dwyane Wade, bruh. You f**kin' trippin', dawg. You trippin' dawg."

Responding to Boosie's comment, Dwyane's wife and Zaya's stepmother later liked someone's tweet which read, "I wish y'all would keep the lid closed on Boosie's trash a** Instagram. It stinks in here every time someone opens it."

Meanwhile, Dwyane has shared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" what he and Gabrielle learned from "Pose" cast when they reached out to them about his daughter's transition. "We didn't have a lot of information and we reached out about pronouns. We wanted to make sure we didn't get it wrong. So we reached out about the pronouns so that we said the right things to our daughter," the retired athlete said on Tuesday, February 18.

He added, "She's identified as a young lady and we wanted to make sure we got all the pronouns right. We wanted to make sure we get all of the language right. So we reached out to make sure that we had all the information that we needed because we are learning in this process as well."
