Las Vegas valley filmmaker Rick Boss is making a movie titled '2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC' that explores the possibility of the 'California Love' rapper still being alive.

AceShowbiz - Since Tupac Shakur's death in 1996, there have been numerous theories suggesting that the rap icon is still alive. Las Vegas valley filmmaker Rick Boss is one of those who believe it and is planning to make a movie about it.

Speaking to KTNV Las Vegas, Rick said the big question that's going to be answered in his upcoming movie is "After the shooting. What's next?" In his film titled "2Pac: The Great Escape from UMC", he explores the possibility of the rapper "escaping from University Medical Center here in Vegas and relocating to New Mexico" and "getting protection from the Navajo tribe."

Rick believes Tupac discovered there's a plot to assassinate him before he attended the Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand on the night of September 7, 1996, so he arranged a plan for his exit. "When certain FBI agencies are looking for you, they are going to block the airport. So you can't travel out so the best way to escape is through helicopter, private helicopter to another state," he explained.

Rick claims Tupac planted a double in Suge Knight's BMW and escaped by helicopter to Navajo tribal land, where federal agents couldn't follow him. FBI agents can't go onto tribal land without the tribal council's permission, which he claimed the reason why the place is perfect for a hide-out.

Claiming that he got the information from people in Tupac's family and circle, he said, "You can write a fiction. You can write a fiction story but this is not a fiction. This is facts through certain people I know." He added, "Let's just say Mr. Shakur - the family is aware of the movie and they're okay with the title so that should tell you more or less what's going on."

Tupac is widely believed to have been shot dead in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. The gunman was never captured. His body was cremated.
