AceShowbiz - Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich are putting a united front amid swirling speculations about their marriage troubles. Just days after she put out a cryptic social media post about love, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum was spotted joined by her pro hockey player husband for a brunch date in Studio City, California.

The couple, who got married in July 2017, was seen grabbing a meal together at celebrity hotspot Joan's on Third on Saturday morning, February 1. Keeping their date simple and casual, they seemed to be in a good spirit as they reportedly were all smiles throughout the outing and made time to pose with fans.

For the date, the ex-girlfriend of Ryan Seacrest donned a beige long-sleeve crop top that she matched with a pair of gray sweatpants and black sneakers. She completed her look with large sunglasses, and tied her hair in a loose half ponytail. Her husband, in the meantime, sported a black long-sleeve Nike shirt with matching shoes and shorts. While he wore a ring on his ring finger, she opted to go ringless.

Dishing more details about their outing, a source told E! News, "Julianne and Brooks had a casual breakfast. They sat outside and ordered breakfast. Julianne was sipping on tea and water and seemed to be under the weather." The source went on to add, "They talked quietly over breakfast and stayed very focused on one another and their conversation. They smiled and laughed at each other, [and] they seemed very happy together."

This Saturday outing came just days after Hough posted a quote from psychology writer Heidi Priebe on Instagram. "To love someone long-term is to attend a thousand funerals of the people they used to be," the 31-year-old's post read. "The people they're too exhausted to be any longer. The people they don't recognize inside themselves anymore."

"The people they grew out of, the people they never ended up growing into," it continued. "We so badly want the people we love to get their spark back when it burns out; to become speedily found when they are lost. But it is not our job to hold anyone accountable to the people they used to be."
