Joshua Jackson's pregnant wife wows the crowd with her bright look, the 'Bombshell' actress looks fabolous in a purple dress, and the new Catwoman depicter is dripping in gold.

AceShowbiz - The red carpet at the 73rd annual BAFTA Film Awards was glittered with big stars. Pregnant Jodie Turner-Smith brightened the day with her yellow sequined dress by Gucci. She was joined by husband Joshua Jackson who suited up in his tailored tuxedo complete with a bow tie and matched his wife with Gucci loafers.

Charlize Theron looked lovely in a purple dress by Dior. The actress who's nominated for Best Leading Actress for her role in true-story movie "Bombshell" finished off her look with a thin black belt and a silver necklace from Tiffany & Co's new T1 collection.

Zoe Kravitz sparkled in a slinky gold dress from Saint Laurent. Her pixie hair was slicked back and the new Catwoman depicter completed her look with strappy black heels, red earrings, matching rings, vibrant lips, and nail polish.

Accompanied by Prince William who looked dapper in his designer suit, Kate Middleton arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in London in an Alexander McQueen outfit.

It was the same dress that the Duchess of Cambridge donned at a state dinner in Malaysia back in 2012. Putting her hair in a knotted updo, the British royal updated her look with Anya Hindmarch clutch, Jimmy Choo heels, and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

Other Hollywood beauties who turned heads at the star-studded event included Emilia Clarke in a black Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, Scarlett Johansson in a pink feathered outfit by Versace, Margot Robbie in a black ruffled lace Chanel gown, Naomie Harris in a silver dress by Michael Kors, Daisy Ridley in an emerald-green Oscar de la Renta dress, Renee Zellweger who looked sweet in a pink Prada, and Saoirse Ronan in a black Gucci gown.

The awards show is hosted by Graham Norton. Johansson and Robbie received two nominations. ScarJo is up for Best Leading Actress for "Marriage Story" and Best Supporting Actress for "Jojo Rabbit". Meanwhile, Robbie scores double nods in Best Supporting Actress category for "Bombshell" and "Once Upon a Time".

The nominations drew criticisms this year for lack of diversity. "12 Years a Slave" director Steve McQueen warned the organizers, "Unless the Baftas wants to be like the Grammys, which is of no interest to anyone, and has no credibility at all, then they should continue on this path. If not then they have to change. Fact."
