The country songstress, who is now happily married to new husband Brendan McLoughlin, gets candid about her going through a hard time after splitting from Blake back in 2015.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert has gotten candid about the hardship she had to endure following her divorce from Blake Shelton. The "Bluebird" singer stopped by Nashville, Tennessee on Friday evening, January 24 as part of her "Wildcard Tour", and openly told 20,000 concertgoers that the tumultuous period in her life was a "s**tshow".

The "Heart Like Mine" hitmaker brought up the topic onstage when introducing her next ballad, "Dark Bars", which was inspired by her separation from "The Voice" judge. "I feel like Nashville is somewhere where you can go if you need to be a dreamer and not be judged about it. I spent a lot of time here on highs and lows … I went through a really hard time in my life," she began.

"I moved here in 2015 in the middle of a s**show," the 36-year-old country crooner continued, referring to her divorce. Still, she was quick to point out the positive, telling her fans, "But I was lifted up by people who were like, 'We got you, girl.' My friends and my songwriters and my fans and everybody here."

In addition to "Dark Bars", the two-time Grammy winner sang another divorce song, "Got My Name Changed Back". For the performance, she was joined onstage by her Pistol Annies bandmates, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

Of her two bandmates, Lambert said, "We've been a band for almost a decade. And in that decade we have accomplished a lot of life together." She added, "Together we have three husbands, two ex-husbands. Three babies, a step-child and 24 animals. And, as of late, also a Grammy nomination." The trio's "Interstate Gospel" was nominated for Best Country Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.

Lambert tied the knot with Shelton in 2011 after nearly five years of dating. Their marriage broke apart in 2015. She moved on by dating Anderson East and Evan Felker before secretly marrying NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin in 2019.

Two days after her Nashville concert, the "White Liar" singer took to Instagram to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with McLoughlin. Uploading a photo from their big day, she wrote, "1 year. I'm so happy to walk through this life with you. Thank you Brendan for making me the proudest wife and stepmom. You are the reason for all my new smile lines. I love you. #MrsMcLoughlin."
