The TV host reveals that 'he new chapter has been so lovely,' though she shares that she doesn't regret the whole time she spent with Kevin, from whom she divorces after 25 years together.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Wendy Williams has no regrets filing divorce from ex Kevin Hunter after 25 years together. While appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the TV personality opened up about her new life as a single moment.

"After nine months, yes, I am fully divorced. A door has closed in old life," Wendy told host Jimmy Fallon. The 55-year-old added, "The new chapter has been so lovely," before thanking Jimmy for asking the question right away without feeling that he needed to tiptoe around it.

"I don't feel like I'm intimidating but people are so scared. But you and I have known each other for a long time," Wendy shared.

She went on saying that she didn't regret the whole time she spent with Kevin. "Yeah, I'm not mad. You know, it was 25 years I don't regret," she explained. "But you know what? Sometimes people move on with their lives. And I have to tell you something; Now, I no longer love in Jersey. It is Wendy in the city."

When asked if she's currently dating or is looking for someone, Wendy responded, "Yeah, I date. But, you know, I love my career. You know how tough this is with this microphone here. You know what I'm saying. There's a certain amount of dedication and I didn't just land into my career 'cause, you know, of something." She explained that she dates in between handling her talk show "The Wendy Williams Show".

Although Jimmy didn't ask, Wendy revealed that she didn't have a certain type of men that she liked, adding that she wasn't on Tinder. "Because I like eye-to-eye contact. And I like--I feel--I've grown through the years," she explained.

Wendy and Kevin finalized her divorce from Kevin Hunter on Tuesday, January 21 in New Jersey. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Wendy and Kevin will be getting half each of the sale made from their former shared home in Livingston, New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Wendy reportedly gets to keep their house in Florida that currently homes Wendy's mom. As for Kevin, he will keep all the proceeds he made from a house in Morristown, New Jersey that he previously sold. Additionally, all their furniture will go to Wendy. However, Kevin isn't left empty-handed since he keeps his Ferrari and Rolls-Royce cars.
