The 'Good Morning Britain' host calls the Duke and Duchess of Sussex 'the two most spoiled brats in royal history' after the couple decided to step away from the British royal family.

AceShowbiz - Piers Morgan flooded his Twitter with a barrage of criticisms and retweets of those sharing unfavorable thoughts about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they decided to step down as "senior" members of British royal family. He called the couple "the two most spoiled brats in royal history."

"People say I'm too critical of Meghan Markle - but she ditched her family, ditched her Dad, ditched most of her old friends, split Harry from William & has now split him from the Royal Family. I rest my case," the 54-year-old host wrote in one tweet soon after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their announcement.

He didn't mention any names when claiming Meghan ditched "her old friends," but one of those "old friends" he referred to might be himself since he once said he struck up a friendship with the Duchess.

Back in 2017, he sang high praises for the brunette beauty. He said he's a big fan of her TV show and started following her on social media. "To cut a long story short, we then spent the next year trading funny messages, then she began emailing me the Suits episodes early," he said.

He revealed they met at a U.K. pub for a few drinks in 2016 and then cheekily asked on TV for an invite to her wedding following her engagement to Harry. However, he was not among the guests when she married in 2018.

Despite his claims that she cut ties with her old friends, Meghan still kept contact with her longtime pals like Janina Gavankar, Priyanka Chopra, and Serena Williams.

As an individual asked him to "leave them alone," the "Good Morning Britain" co-presenter replied, "No. She's breaking up our royal family after fleecing the public purse. As a taxpayer, and a Monarchist, I'm entitled to take a rather dim view of this."

He also wrote in another post, "What a disgraceful way to treat The Queen. Shame on Harry & Meghan." He also said, "The taxpayer should not be paying a single penny to support Meghan & Harry’s new life as duty-free celebrities. Not. One. Penny."

Piers called "Absolute bollocks," when another said the Duchess was a victim of racist haters, "Meghan is partly black. The media and the ignorant sections of British society cannot handle this. Large-scale dog-whistle racism has therefore followed. They rightly have had enough. Good for them. The British press should hang their heads in shame."

As a fellow journalist on Twitter claimed "Buckingham Palace didn't seem this disappointed by Andrew using his royal connections to party with Epstein," he insisted, "Twitter was far more scathing about Andrew than it's been about Harry/Meghan."

He even dragged Prince Harry's late mother, suggesting the media had nothing to do with her tragic death. "Diana, who regularly colluded with the paparazzi & newspapers to promote herself, was killed by a drunk driver," he said.
