The 'Follow God' rapper, who held the first anniversary of his gospel movement in December, is reported to have put his 'sole focus' of 2020 to bringing the word of God to people worldwide.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is reportedly looking to take his "Sunday Service" gospel movement global in 2020.

Last month (Dec19), the rapper held the first anniversary of the weekly music and praise concerts at the Union Rescue Mission shelter in Los Angeles' Skid Row, claiming "this thing saved my life."

"This thing was an alternative to opioids, this thing was an alternative to pornography," he said.

According to TMZ, after performances across the U.S. and in Jamaica, the star is now looking to take the concept to Europe and Africa this year, with the publication reporting his "muse and sole focus" is to bring the word of God to people worldwide.

Sources close to the star said Kanye has no interest in traditional touring for his music anymore, but he does plan to keep recording gospel tunes with his choir - which he continues to fund out of his own pocket.

Early in 2019, the star dropped the gospel album Jesus Is King, and he went on to release Jesus Is Born with the Sunday Service Choir on Christmas Day (25Dec).

It was previously reported that Kanye planned to take Sunday Service on tour alongside famed pastor and televangelist Joel Osteen, with the pair plotting to host sermons in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Chicago, and Detroit.

A date at New York's Yankee's Stadium has reportedly been booked for 2 May 2020, with more stops in high-capacity venues to follow.
