The British famous medium who made a cameo appearance on the TV show 'Doctor Who' is announced by his wife Gwen on Facebook to have passed away at the age of 69.

AceShowbiz - British TV medium and psychic Derek Acorah has died at the age of 69.
His wife Gwen Acorah Johnson said her "beloved" husband had passed away "after a very brief illness," writing on his official Facebook page, "Farewell my love! I will miss you forever!"
The star was best known for his role on reality TV series "Most Haunted", which followed a team of paranormal experts as they investigated haunted locations.
Derek, born in Merseyside, England, also made a cameo appearance on science fiction show "Doctor Who" in 2006 episode "Army of Ghosts", and entered the "Celebrity Big Brother" house in 2017, finishing in fourth place.
He also regularly performed at live shows across the U.K., with further tour dates planned for February and May this year 2020, according to his website.
The star is survived by his wife and two kids.
