AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion marked the beginning of new year by partying with her idol Beyonce Knowles. The 24-year-old female rapper celebrated 2020 with the 38-year-old R&B diva and her daughter Blue Ivy, who will turn 8 on January 7.
The "Hot Girl Summer" hitmaker flaunted her party with the Carters on Instagram. The trio seemed to have a blast as they took a group picture. Megan and Beyonce made funny faces while Blue flashed her sweet smile to the camera. "Happy 2020," Megan gushed in the caption.
Megan is a big fan of Beyonce. "Everybody knows that I super-love Beyonce," she told Billboard in a recent interview. "I'm from Houston, she's from Houston. I've been listening to her all my life... I watch her talk about basically going through the same struggles that I feel like I'm going through right now. If Beyonce could get through it, I could get through it."
In September 2019, Megan was signed to Roc Nation by Beyonce's husband Jay-Z. "I would like to announce that I am officially apart of the @rocnation fam!!! The grind don't stop!" she captioned a picture of her with the Jiggaman.
Megan Thee Stallion is currently working on her debut album. She revealed her plan to release the album under the new persona of Suga. "I felt like my mixtapes were me flirting with my fans," she said at Tiny Desk Fest. "I never wanted to do an album 'cause I was like, 'Oh, that feel like marriage. That's a commitment.' But now, I'm ready to settle down with an album."
