Having replaced Jennifer Hudson on the talent show, the 'All About The Bass' hitmaker reveals that she has to keep reminding herself why she deserves to be where she is right now.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor struggled with insecurities as she took her seat alongside Tom Jones, will.i.am and Olly Murs for her coaching gig on "The Voice UK".

The "All About The Bass" hitmaker, who replaced Jennifer Hudson on the talent show earlier this year (2019), admits it was "bizarre" to be working with such big names.

"I get hard on myself and I get insecure, and I'm like, 'I'm a baby out here and I haven't accomplished anything (like) they have'," she told the Daily Mail. "But then I had to remind myself why I deserve to be here and that's something that I would teach my team. I'd be like, 'OK, you're gonna come on here, do your thing, and prove to everyone why we turned around for you and why you deserve to stay'."

She added: "I feel like I'm learning while they're learning at the same time, and that's something I offer in my pitch: 'We'll do this together. I'm just as scared as you are'."

Meghan went on to admit the show entails "a fun time and lots of hours", but credited her fellow judges for making the experience "everything I'd ever wished for".

"I look up to everyone on this show, and everyone's so cool," she gushed. "And when I met them, I'm, like, meeting my heroes and icons, and they were nice."

The new series of "The Voice UK" debuts on January 4, 2020.
