About the collaboration, Nashville Mayor John Cooper says, 'To have someone of the caliber and stature of Stevie Nicks join Keith Urban on stage is an incredible way to cap off the year.'

AceShowbiz - Keith Urban has recruited Stevie Nicks for his New Years Eve gig in Nashville, Tennessee.

The country star will ring in 2020 as the headliner for the city's free New Year's Eve Music City Midnight event, and this year he'll be joined by the Fleetwood Mac star.

"To have someone of the caliber and stature of Stevie Nicks join Keith Urban on stage is an incredible way to cap off the year," Nashville Mayor John Cooper said in a statement. "Nashville has worked hard to grow New Year's Eve into a world-class event that brings global attention and economic impact to the city."

The bill also features Ashley McBryde, Jason Isbell and his wife Amanda Shires, The Struts, and the Fisk Jubilee Singers.

Urban has given up New Year's Eve with his wife Nicole Kidman and their kids four times now to headline Nashville's end of year festival. Last year's show was a big hit with almost 200,000 people in attendance, according to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp.
