AceShowbiz - K-pop superstars BTS (Bangtan Boys)' first official auction items are set to go under the hammer to raise cash for the Recording Academy's MusiCares charity.

Seven microphones the group used during its recent "Love Yourself" tour, each signed by a member of the band, are expected to sell for between $10,000 (£7,600) and $20,000 (£15,200) at Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles on January 24, 2020, two days before Recording Academy chiefs host the Grammy Awards.

Aerosmith, who will be next year's (2020) MusiCares Person of the Year recipients, are also offering up auction items, including frontman Steven Tyler's Shure SM58 microphone, signed microphone stand and his personal scarves, and guitarist Joe Perry's signed Gibson Les Paul Signature Guitar.

Items up for grabs at the auction, set for January 24, 2020, are Tom Petty's limited-edition custom watch, Eddie Vedder's signed ukulele, and autographed guitars from Taylor Swift, Dave Grohl, Carlos Santana, Harry Styles, and Pete Townshend.

All proceeds from the sale will benefit MusiCares.
