The former '30 Rock' star has been embroiled in lawsuit battle with Wojciech Cieszkowski who accused the actor of pushing and striking him in New York in November 2018.

AceShowbiz - A judge presiding over Alec Baldwin's parking lot dispute case has dismissed a charge of slander against the actor.
Baldwin cut a deal with prosecutors earlier this year (2019) and was only charged with harassment in the second-degree, and sentenced to several anger management classes and made to pay a fine after he was accused of pushing and striking Wojciech Cieszkowski after he "stole" his parking space in New York in November (2018).
Cieszkowski also alleged in the lawsuit that it was slanderous when the "30 Rock" star spoke on TV and radio, claiming he thought the man was going to run over his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, during the incident.
However, on Tuesday, December 24, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice David Cohen wrote in a new decision that Baldwin's statements in the media were exaggerations and opinions which don't rise to the level of defamation.
"As the defendant (Baldwin) was describing his own opinion of what he saw, no action for defamation under a slander per se theory lies," he wrote. "The words stated by (the) defendant are not words that accuse plaintiff of a specific crime... They are words of frustration with someone's driving."
The remainder of Cieszkowski's lawsuit against Baldwin alleging assault and battery will go forward in court.
Meanwhile, the "Beetlejuice" actor filed his own defamation lawsuit against Cieszkowski in November, claiming he lied when he said Baldwin punched him.
