Talking about his Christmas tradition in an interview, the former Take That member also reveals that he and his wife Ayda Field usually hire Mr Christmas to help them decorate their house.

AceShowbiz - Robbie Williams has an image of Victoria Beckham (Victoria Adams) on the top of his Christmas tree - to help him and wife Ayda Field avoid festive treats.

The "Angels" singer has battled weight problems and a sleep eating disorder in the past, and to prevent himself overindulging over the holiday season he's come up with an unusual method - sticking Victoria on top of the tree.

"When we're eating Terry's Chocolate Orange we can look up at our tree-topper and a sense of guilt will overwhelm us and we'll put the chocolate down because she's (Victoria) not having any," he told Britain's Daily Star newspaper.

His wife Ayda previous revealed that when they've been living in Los Angeles they go all out for the festive season by hiring celebrity Christmas decorator Mr Christmas.

"We have Mr Christmas in LA he's quite...Mr Christmas does every celebrity's tree," she said during an episode of her "At Home with the Williamses" podcast. "He does our tree."

Describing the festive help she gets from Mr Christmas, she adds: "You have to book Mr Christmas like four months in advance and then he has these really handsome gay men - they're called elves and you have to refer to them as elves - and they're in the house, they're dressing bannisters, the tree, and it's a whole team that come in. Obviously I can't do that myself."
