The 'Easy A' star and her parents have met in court to seek help for the 33-year-old actress, but a source assures that she's mentally and physically okay and not doing drugs again.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes has sparked concern after she suddenly "fled" a sober living facility which she called home. The former Nickelodeon star reportedly left the sober house a week ago, months after she completed rehab.
In addition to leaving the sober house, a source says, "She dropped out of the FIDM bachelor degree program she enrolled in... [and] is not working." Additionally, The Blast reports that she stopped complying with her court-ordered conservatorship, making her parents so worried about her well-being. Words are when her parents learned that she left the sober house, they attempted to contact her and convince her to return to the facility, but refused.
For these reasons, Amanda, her parents and her lawyers met in court on Thursday, December 12 to ask for a judge's help in figuring out the next steps for the actress. Her parents are reportedly begging the court to put their daughter back into treatment at any means necessary.
Meanwhile, another source tells E! News there's very little chance that Amanda would be agreeing to return to the sober house, but assures that the actress is "not doing drugs" again and is mentally and physically okay. The source additionally says Amanda's "doing better now."
"She may not go back [to the facility], but again, she's not doing drugs and mentally and physically she's okay. She does not have to go back but it's unclear what's going to happen," the so-called insider explains.
The source adds that Amanda is "open to getting help," which sounds good enough for her parents who hadn't seen the 33-year-old star since she left the sober house. "In court her parents were reassured that she's doing well and okay and that everything is back on track," the source shares.
In contrary to a report stating that Amanda plans on fighting to remove her mother as a conservator and instead have a third party placed in charge of her conservatorship going forward, the source says the "Hairspray" star "doesn't want to replace" her parents as conservators. "That's not an issue," the source insists.
On her court appearance, during which she was photographed rocking pink hair and pink nails while smoking cigarette, the source explains, "Today she had bright pink hair, bright pink nails and she had unusual makeup. It was like she painted freckles on her face and all over her cheeks."
Amanda graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise with her associates degree in 2018 and later announced her intentions to start a bachelor's degree program. In January of this year, she checked into a facility to seek treatment for mental health after suffering a relapse.
