Prior to this, the 'Who Needs Love' rapper held an Instagram Live session to react to his late friend's death, getting very emotional while listening to one of Juice's songs.

AceShowbiz - It's clear that Juice WRLD's death has taken a toll on Trippie Redd, who apparently doesn't want to share the same fate as his late pal. During an Instagram Live session on Monday, December 9, the rapper declared that he would stop doing drugs.

He said to the camera, "Me doing it no more. Period. We doing it no more." Pausing for a bit to smoke a blunt, Trippie continued, "And when I say we I mean, us as a group, us as a whole -- the whole emo music artists. No drugs." Many have since sent him encouragement, including Jason Derulo who left three clapping hands emojis. Some others hope that Trippie stays true to his words and stops doing drugs for real.

This isn't the first time Trippe reacted to Juice's death. On Sunday, December 8, just hours after news of his death broke, the "Who Needs Love" rapper held a Live, in which he was seen getting so emotional and in the verge of tears while listening to the late rapper's song. It was understandable why he reacted that way. After all, he and Juice were good friends. Trippie even said that the latter was the only one "I look at like competition. ...You my twin, you my rival."

Juice was pronounced dead at Advocate Chris Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois on Sunday after suffering a seizure at Chicago's Midway airport. An autopsy was performed on the star, but an official cause of death is still pending while waiting for the results of additional testing, including toxicology, cardiac pathology and neuropathology.

Recently, it was reported that the "All Girls Are the Same" rapper swallowed tons of Percocet pills in what was believed to be an attempt to hide them from the feds. The drugs might have contributed to his death.
