AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds was almost flattened by a barricade that gave way as he was swarmed by overzealous fans in Brazil.
The "Deadpool" actor was in Sao Paulo on Saturday, December 7 for the CCXP 2019 Comic Con Experience, where he was promoting his latest movie "Free Guy".
As the star was making his way down the stage platform, he jumped down to greet fans, which soon backfired when the barricade toppled over - sending frenzied fans plummeting straight to the ground.
Quick on his feet, however, Ryan jumped back and managed to avoid injury, as fans from the event took to social media to assure he was OK.
Despite the near-miss, he stuck around to help fans, with TMZ reporting no one was seriously injured during the crush. The event continued as scheduled.
