AceShowbiz - Rare and unseen photos of Elvis Presley are to be part of a major respective to mark the 85th birthday of the King of Rock 'n' Roll.

Shots from photographers Bud Fraker, Bill Avery, and Gabi Rona, among others, will make up the Eternally Elvis show at Los Angeles' Mr. Musichead Gallery from 10 to 15 January (20). They will feature images of Elvis rehearsing for an appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show", pictures of the singer with fellow rock 'n' roll legend Bill Haley, and publicity shoot outtakes, as well as candid moments caught at a show in Presley's native Tupelo, Mississippi in 1956, and behind-the-scenes snaps from the late legend's movies.

"Elvis represented and reflected the youthful angst, exuberance, and rebellion of the mid 1950s and these photos give a real sense of what a fresh and exciting talent he was and reveal the charisma that everyone was drawn to," gallery owner Sam Milgrom tells WENN.
