The co-founder of the heavy metal band admits that Mark DiDia's slip about the 2020 stadium tour ruined a well-organized announcement prepared for a SiriusXM's Volume radio show.

AceShowbiz - Rocker Nikki Sixx is unhappy with The Black Crowes' manager for leaking news about the Motley Crue reunion during a radio chat.

Mark DiDia was raving about live rock music coming in 2020 on "The Howard Stern Show" on November 11, when he let it slip that Motley Crue were regrouping to tour with Poison and Def Leppard.

Sixx tells Variety the leak ruined a well-organised announcement, planned for Wednesday, December 04 as part of Stray Cats star Slim Jim Phantom's SiriusXM's Volume radio show.

"We would have announced it here, the way it should have been," Sixx says. "It was announced by The Black Crowes' manager... unfortunately, but that doesn't affect our stadium tour."

"The Stadium Tour", which will also feature Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, kicks off on July 7, 2020 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

It will mark Motley Crue's first live dates since the rockers wrapped their farewell tour on New Year's Eve, 2015.
