Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff gets a new costume while revisiting her past to settle an unfinished business as she says in the official sneak peek of the upcoming Marvel movie.

AceShowbiz - Scarlett Johansson is back as Natasha Romanoff in the first official teaser trailer of "Black Widow". Another highly-anticipated title from Marvel Studios, the upcoming solo film focuses on the former Russian spy-turned-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent as she revisits her past to settle what she calls an "unfinished business."

The video includes an ode to Natasha's time with the Avengers which she appears to treasure a lot. "I used to have nothing," she says in voiceover, while the video flashes back to her time as a ballet dancer and during her training. "And then I got this job... This family," she continues as the scenes show her with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

"But nothing lasts forever," she says in the next scene. "I'm done running from my past." She is then seen stopping by Yelena's (Florence Pugh) place and the two have sort of duel before they're back on a friendly term. She also meets Melina (Rachel Weisz) and Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian (David Harbour), who looks excited the most about this whole "family" reunion.

The video gives the first proper look at the film's big bad, Taskmaster, though the identity behind the mask is yet to be uncovered. Throughout the action sequence, Natasha is featured wearing a white costume, which is in contrast to her black costume as the Avenger.

"Black Widow" is directed by Cate Shortland with the script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. It is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on May 1, 2020.

Johansson recently promised that the upcoming solo movie would give fans a "closure" of her character. "I don't know if I can take it anymore without any closure," she told ET Online in October, hinting that the movie would be her last run as Black Widow. "It's too exhausting," she added.
