The 'All My Children' alum breaks her social media silence by posting a telling quote from author Nishan Panwar after the 'This Is Us' star filed for divorce from her.

AceShowbiz - Justin Hartley's estranged wife Chrishell Stause has broken her social media silence after news broke that the couple had called it quits on their marriage. On Monday, December 2, the 38-year-old actress shared a cryptic post about change.

The post featured a quote from author Nishan Panwar which read, "It's hard to watch people change right in front of you. But it's even harder remembering who they used to be." She didn't mention whom the telling quote was addressed to, but considering the timing which is only a little over a week after news of their marital separation spread, many assumed that she was talking about her estranged husband.

Many of her followers and friends have since rallied around the former "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives" star by leaving supportive messages in the comment section. "Stay strong pretty girl," wrote Canadian TV presenter Keltie Knight. Former Playboy Playmate and Tarek El Moussa's girlfriend Heather Rae Young commented, "Thinking of you sweet girl." Actress Alicia Minshew added, "Sending you love sweets."

Justin filed for divorce from Chrisell in November after two years of marriage. He listed the date of their separation as July 8, 2019, though they were still attending the Emmy Awards together on September 22. They were also seen together at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Match in Los Angeles on October 5, and a Hollywood Reporter-sponsored pre-Golden Globes party on November 14.

The 42-year-old actor listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. He has requested his estranged wife pay her own lawyer's fees and he doesn't want to pay her any spousal support. They have no children together.

A source recently told PEOPLE that Justin and Chrisell had "been having trouble for a while," adding, "in many ways, they're somewhat fundamentally incompatible." As for their differences, the source detailed, "Chrishell is really ready to just settle down and be a wife and stay-at-home mom and was hoping to start a family relatively soon. Justin wants that but also doesn't think it has to happen in the near future and is at a point in his career where he wants to really be able to explore all the options that are coming his way."

The source continued, "He's reached a new level of fame thanks to the show and he doesn't want to close many doors right now, and that's not the path Chrishell is looking to take. She thought babies would happen soon after they got married, but it just hasn't worked out."
