Responding to fans' concern that there's bad blood between him and his 'Lookin' ' collaborator, the 'XO Tour Llif3' hitmaker assures that he's not beefing with Atlanta star.

AceShowbiz - Lil Uzi Vert has gone candid about his relationship with Playboi Carti, whom he previously collaborated with on the latter's 2017 song "Lookin' ". Fans have long awaited more joint projects from the two rappers, but that likely won't come anytime soon as Uzi admitted that he's currently having issues with Carti.

On Thursday, November 28, a curious fan asked Uzi on Twitter, "are u and carti on good terms?" Being honest, he simply responded, "NO." The 25-year-old emcee, however, appeared to play down his earlier statement after another follower asked a similar question.

"What about u and carti ???" the second fan asked him. Uzi replied, "Nothin I just took a different route." Addressing fans' concern that there's bad blood between him and Carti, the Philadelphia-born star assured that he's not beefing with his former collaborator. "I don't beef we could have a friend Dress Off," he replied to another user.

After teaming up on "Lookin' ", Uzi and Carti teased a possible joint mixtape, but that never saw the light of day. The "Magnolia" rapper admitted in 2017 that their studio time together hadn't always been easy.

"All right, so I'm gonna tell you something about Carti. He's really psyched out. Like, he's on a whole other planet. He's a troll," he said of his then-friend. "Everybody thinks that he's listening to them, but he's not listening to nobody. He don't hear nobody."

He further shared of their complicated relationship, "Me and Carti, we gotta fight - like, physically fight - for him to listen. Other than that, he don't hear nothing."

Carti has not responded to Uzi's latest comment on their relationship.

His relationship with Carti aside, Uzi appeared to diss Maaly Raw, the man behind some of his early hits. Asked if they're no longer cool either, the "XO Tour Llif3" hitmaker replied, "MAALY RAW A SNAKE 2 .... he tried to run off wit 20,000 back in the G wonder what that turned into."
